Grace for Hips and Core: A blend of Yoga and Qigong
Focused on meeting her students’ needs, Grace offers a blend of different mind-body practices. Her life’s work is helping others heal from trauma, build strength, and improve flexibility of the body and mind through combining movements and breath from Yoga, Qigong and Tai Chi. This DVD offers two short practices that are a blend of Yoga and Qigong. They can be combined for approximately 1 hour of practice. The first sequence on this DVD is a gentle way to ease you into the more challenging second sequence. A timed rest period; Savasana, after each practice allows your body time to integrate all your physical and mental efforts.

Combined, the practices of Yoga and Qigong create a powerful tool for enhancing the mind-body connection. Qigong’s gentle movement and breath work unwind stress and tension while yoga postures strengthen hips and core. Additional benefits are improved flexibility and breath awareness. Practitioners will find they grow physically stronger and their mental focus is sharpened.

Grace Stephen lives what she teaches. Prior to becoming an instructor, Grace had a long, successful career in the medical industry. An automobile accident allowed her to experience the power and value of a dedicated Yoga, Qigong and Tai Chi practice. Always focused on meeting her students’ needs, Grace offers a blend of different mind-body practices. Her life’s work is now helping others heal from trauma, build strength, and improve flexibility of the body and mind through combining movements and breath from Yoga, Qigong and Tai Chi. Grace is a Registered Yoga Teacher.
